Summary

1.1

The Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel advise the Executive Member for Policy and Resources that approval be given for the Director of Property, Business & Regulatory Services (Head of Estates) and the Director of Environment to be authorised to negotiate with Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and prospective developers on the planning and heads of terms for the possible disposal of County Council landholdings to secure the regeneration of the Basing View area of Basingstoke.

The outcome of the negotiations to be reported to future meetings of the Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel, Executive Member Environment: North Hampshire and Spatial Strategy and the Executive Member for Policy and Resources.

The effective use of the County Council's land and highway assets.
