1. At the May 2004 County Council meeting it was agreed that in future all items in the Forward Plan would be considered by the appropriate Policy Review Committee before consideration by the Cabinet or individual Executive Members. Key decisions on which the Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel currently advised the Leader would be excluded. This report presents for Members' consideration and information an item to be considered by the Executive Member for Environment: North Hampshire and Spatial Strategy on 25 April 2006.
2. On 16 March 2006 the Strategic Planning Joint Advisory Panel considered the attached report which detailed the conclusions arising from the Hampshire County Structure Plan Policy H4 Monitoring Paper 2006 and the outcome of consultation on the document. It also set out the latest position on the Hampshire Housing Supply Action Plan. The Panel endorsed without amendment the recommendations in the report.
Recommendation
That the Committee considers this report and offers any comments which it believes the Executive Member for Environment: North Hampshire and Spatial Strategy should take into account in making his decision.
