Summary of Bid

To support the employment of a development worker to set up and run the proposed Hampshire Children and Young Peoples Voluntary Sector Alliance. This Alliance will facilitate the communication with and engagement of voluntary and community organisations with public sector bodies for the purposes of consultation and service design in relation to the Children and Young People Plan.

The Alliance will also help to involve under represented groups.

The Alliance is an agreed part of the Hampshire Infrastructure Development plan under the ChangeUp programme

The project is initially for 3 years and this bid if for the first year of the project.

How does this bid support the targets within the Community Strategy?

This project will help achieve the integration and genuine involvement of the VCS in service planning initially in the CYP field but the project will serve as a pilot for development in other areas of activity.
