The Partnership has established a post of Partnership Officer/Manager and a small project budget to support it and the community planning process in Rushmoor. The post was filled by Annie Denton.

The post is independent of any specific partner organisation and is responsible to the Chairman and Partnership Steering Group. For day to day operations and service conditions, there is a direct link to Rushmoor Borough Council's Head of Democratic Services. The post is part-time (20 hours per week).

The Partnership has agreed to establish the post and small project budget and the Partnership Steering Group has agreed arrangements for 2006/07.

Timescale

The post holder commenced duties in June 2005 for two years. The County Council had indicated support over this timescale and a review of the post will commence in December 2006.

How does this bid support the targets within the Community Strategy?

The post holder will work with the Partnership on action planning, performance management, resource generation, communication and consultation.

The Partnership has also secured funding support for specific projects from private sector organisations and the post holder has a key role in project development and implementation.
