The following decision is sought: |

That the Executive Member for Children's Services approves the internal refurbishment project at the Mill Hill Early Years Centre, at an estimated cost of up to £248,064, excluding fees. |

To allow the administrative elements of the provision to relocate into one area of the building and to improve space and access for services directly accessed by families. |
2.2 |
This decision supports Aim 1 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by providing improved facilities which will benefit all users of the centre. |

The need of the family centre for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the report are considered to be the most appropriate and cost effective way of meeting that need. |
