1

Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

    1. That the project appraisal for the construction of a one-form entry infant school at an estimated cost of up to £3,295,000, excluding fees be approved.

    2. That the opportunity to link the school CCTV system into the Rushmoor Borough Council's CCTV monitoring system be investigated.

2

Reason

2.1

Pinewood Infant School was largely destroyed by fire in March 2003 and the Cabinet decided on 13 December 2004 that the school should be rebuilt as a one-form entry infant school.

This decision supports Aim 1 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by providing improved facilities which will benefit all users of the school.
