1. The Chief Executive, after consultation with the Leader of the Council or other appropriate Executive Member, is authorised to approve Members' attendances at conferences and seminars. The Standards Committee requires reports to be made on approvals given under the delegated power. The report was formerly made to the Cabinet but after consultation with the Leader the report is now brought to the Governance Committee as the more appropriate forum.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the report be noted.
