1. Summary

1.1 This report presents an update on the current financial and performance situation for the Recreation and Heritage Department for 2006/07, and makes recommendations for allocating the capital programme.

1.2 The following decisions are sought:

    1. That the financial position for 2006/07 be noted

    2. That the following capital allocations be approved:

2.1 Regular budget monitoring reports are submitted to the Executive Member throughout the year. The purpose of this report is to confirm that managerial action is being taken to achieve a balanced budget position and that performance is being improved
