1 Summary

1.1 The following decisions are sought:

a) That the projected outturn overspend of £1.5m for 2006/07 set out in the attached budget monitoring report be noted.

b) That further actions and considerations of how the service proposes to address the projected overspend will be brought to Executive Member for Children's Services in October 2006.

2.2 Decisions on Children's Services revenue, expenditure and capital programmes impact on the financial resources available to this service to contribute to the following corporate strategy aims:
