1.1 The following decision is sought:

That approval be given to the changes in staff establishments in Children's Services to support service delivery whilst the wider structures for the new department are defined.

1.1 To drive changes required and achieve the required levels of performance.

1.2 The decision supports Aim 5 of the Corporate Strategy (Improving Services) by ensuring that the staffing establishment of the Children's Services Department supports service delivery whilst the wider structures for the new department are defined. This supports the aims of the Children Act 2004 and the five outcomes of "Every Child Matters" by improving our service delivery to meet the needs of young persons in the community.
