The following decisions are sought: |

|
1 That approval be given to the project appraisal for Ashburton Court at an estimated cost of £40.166 million, inclusive of fees. |
|
2 That approval be given to the submission of a planning application for the refurbishment of Ashburton Court, subject to a decision by Government Office South East on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Screening direction. |
|
3 That future reports be submitted to the Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel for consideration and to the Executive Member Policy and Resources for approval of a range of decisions associated with the project. |

This decision supports Aims 2 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy, Stewardship of the Environment and Improving Services, by providing a repaired and refurbished building that is more sustainable, significantly more energy efficient, providing accommodation that facilitates a flexible working environment and improved service delivery. |
