1. Summary
1.1 The following decision is sought:
That the Local Transport Plan Delivery Report be submitted to the Department for Transport by 31 July 2006.
2. Reason
2.1 By producing a Delivery Report, the Council is eligible to be considered for Local Transport Plan 2 supplementary reward funding
2.2 This decision supports all Aims of the Corporate Strategy by allowing the Council to be considered for further Local Transport Plan 2 capital funding to be spent on transport schemes.
3. Other Options Considered and Rejected
3.1 As Hampshire County Council is rated as a "Four Star" authority by the Comprehensive Performance Assessment, the County Council could choose not to produce a Delivery Report. This option has been rejected as it would preclude the Council from being considered for supplementary Local Transport Plan 2 reward funding.
