Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

That approval be given to:

1. The award of a contract to E.ON UK for the supply of electricity to the

`Maximum Demand' sites with effect from 1 October 2006.

2. The award of a contract to Scottish and Southern for the supply of

electricity to large sites with effect from 1 November 2006.

Reason(s)

2.1

Purchasing electricity will increase the proportion of green and CCL exempt electricity purchased by the County Council, and provide effective procurement of the energy.
