1. Introduction

1.1 As part of the service planning process, and in support of Aim 5 of the Corporate Strategy (Improving Services) the Annual Report reviews the activities and key achievements of the Recreation and Heritage Department during the year 2005/06.

1.2 The attached Annual Report has been produced by the Marketing Team with contributions from staff across the department.

Recommendation

That the Recreation and Heritage Annual Report be approved and circulated to all Members of the County Council, the Corporate Management Team, partners, all appropriate local authorities and interested parties.
