1 APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN

RESOLVED:

That Councillor D.F. Wright be appointed Chairman.

2 EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RESOLVED:

That the press and public be excluded from the meeting during the following item of business, as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during that item, confidential information would be disclosed to them in breach of the duty of confidence.

3 LOCAL GOVERNMENT PENSION SCHEME APPEAL

The Panel considered the confidential report of the Treasurer to the Pension Fund, the submission by the Director of Children's Services having been the employer at the relevant time, and the appellant.

RESOLVED:

That the appeal be adjourned and an independent medical report obtained.
