ADULT SOCIAL CARE POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE

ANNUAL REPORT

1. During the year the Committee said goodbye to Terry Butler who retired as Director of Social Services and welcomed Rea Mattocks as the new Director of Adult Services.

2. Consideration was given to reports on:

· Completing the Circle Implementation

· Adult Protection Arrangements

· Recruitment and Retention

· Homecare Service and Modernisation

· Telecare Interim Evaluation and Next Steps

· Hampshire Drug and Alcohol Action Team Treatment Plan

· Re-provision of Services at Pier House, Lee-on-Solent

· The Annual Report of the Complaints and Customer Care Service

· Adult Social Care Performance

· Hampshire Alcohol Strategy

· Review of Equity and Fairness in Relation to Income

· Re-provision of Services at Courtbourn Lodge Older Persons Home, Farnborough

· Mental Health National Service Framework

· Use of Mental Health Act 1983

3. Following a Call-in consideration was given the decision of the Executive Member for Adult Social Care on Charging Policy for Non-Residential Services and it was resolved to concur with the Executive Member's decision.
