    2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

      All Members who believe they have a personal or personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and, having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

    4. CHAIRMAN'S COMMUNICATIONS

      To receive such communications as the Chairman may wish to put before the Council.

    5. LEADER'S REPORT

      To receive such reports as the Leader of the Council may wish to make to the Council.

    6. QUESTIONS UNDER STANDING ORDER 20(b)

      The list of questions received will be circulated at the meeting. Where a member has submitted more than one question, their second and subsequent questions will not be answered until all other members' first questions have been dealt with.

    7. APPOINTMENTS

      a) South East Employers - to appoint Councillor GM Hockley in place of Councillor ADG Evans;

      b) South East England Regional Assembly deputy - to appoint Councillor JK Glen.

      c) River Hamble Harbour Board - Chairman

      d) Policy and Resources Policy Review Committee - Chairman

      e) To make alterations as required in the membership of committees and other bodies which are not subject to proportionality rules, and to make any other member appointments necessary.

    8. REVISIONS TO THE COUNTY COUNCIL'S CONSTITUTION

      To consider the report of the Monitoring Officer recommending changes to the Constitution arising from the Democratic Review and other revisions consequent upon changes in the law and the County Council's operating arrangements.

      (The report circulated with this agenda is to be considered by the Cabinet on 25 September and the Governance Committee on 27 September 2006.)

    9. MINERALS AND WASTE: STATEMENT OF COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

      To consider the adoption of the County Council's statement of community involvement as part of the statutory planning framework for dealing with minerals and waste matters. The draft statement is in the Members' Room.

10. CONTROL OF RAGWORT - NOTICE OF MOTION

      To consider the Notice of Motion submitted in accordance with Standing Order 17 by Councillor Carol Boulton concerning the control of ragwort.

11. GENETICALLY MODIFIED CROPS - NOTICE OF MOTION

      To consider the Notice of Motion submitted in accordance with Standing Order 17 by Councillor Collett concerning genetically modified crops.
