1. Summary

1.1 That the following decision is sought:

1.2 That Councillor M. Kemp-Gee be appointed to replace Councillor M F Cartwright as one of the County Council's representatives on the Wield Educational Trust for the remainder of the four-year period expiring at the annual meeting of the Council in May 2009.

1 Reason

1.1 Among the appointments to outside bodies made by the Executive Member for Education on 13 July 2005 were Councillor M F Cartwright and Reverend D Keighley to the Wield Educational Trust.

1.2 Councillor M F Cartwright wishes to resign as one of the representatives and it has been suggested that Councillor M Kemp-Gee take his place. Councillor Kemp-Gee is aware of this and supports this proposal.
