1 Summary

1.1 The following decisions are sought:

1 That the projected outturn position for 2006/07 for the department is noted

2 That the proposed recovery planis endorsed and a further report on the recovery plan be brought to a future meeting

3 That the funding issues for Children's Centres be noted and that further discussion with the DfES to try and address these concerns is undertaken.

2.2 Decisions on Children's Services revenue, expenditure and capital programmes impact on the financial resources available to this service to contribute to the following corporate strategy aims:
