1. Summary

The following decisions is sought:

· That Councillor Michael Woodhall be appointed as the County Council representative on the New Forest Business Partnership

2. Reason

To maintain County Council representation within the community.

The New Forest Business Partnership Board have invited the County Council to its membership and Councillor Michael Woodhall has indicated his willingness to sit on the Board. The New Forest Business Partnership was established with the aim of improving relations between commercial organisations and local government, promoting better business-to-business relationships, building a stronger economy and bringing greater prosperity to the local community.

The Partnership acts as a forum for local business people to express their views, share their knowledge and experience, network with potential clients and suppliers, and help make changes that will benefit their business.
