Summary

1.1

The following decision is sought:

That approval should be given for the direct sale of 0.77 hectare at the former Blackfield Infant School and 0.7 hectare at the former Langdown Infant School, Hythe as set out in the report with the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services (Head of Estates) being authorised to settle detailed terms and conditions.

Reason

2.1

Receipts from the sale of Blackfield and Langdown Schools will be used to fund improved educational facilities at the newly-formed Blackfield and Waterside Schools, enhancing the quality of the environment for the community and users of the facilities.
