INQUIRIES RECEIVED AND ACTION TAKEN

1. The Committee continues to receive inquiries from various bodies and members of the public. At the last meeting Members were alerted to inquiries about The Ambulance Estates Strategy; The Future of The Lawns Day Hospital, Havant; Changes to Neurology Rehabilitation Services by Southampton University Hospitals Trust; Incidence and Cause of Delays in Discharge from Winchester and Eastleigh NHS Healthcare Trust; Partnership Working with the Healthcare Commission; Publication of Annual Health Check Assessments; Care at the End of Life; Aldershot Health Centre and Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare NHS Trust `Fit for the Future'

2. The Committee received a presentation from the Ambulance Service on the progress with the roll out of the estates strategy including the siting of satellite stations, call centres and ambulance stations.

3. The responses made by the Committee influence and improve the delivery of Health Services in Hampshire and, in doing so, support the delivery of the Corporate Strategy aim of maximising well being.
