Financial Assistance to Voluntary Organisations and Other Bodies

1. Summary

1.1. This report gives details of 7 applications received for financial assistance from voluntary organisations and other bodies in Hampshire for their projects.

1.2. The remaining balance of the budget available for grants to voluntary organisations in 2006/07 is £205,311 after allocating for the grants approved at the last decision day, commitments made in previous years and sums earmarked for specific purposes.

1.3. The following decision is sought:

    That approval be given to grants being awarded to voluntary organisations and other bodies as listed in the sums shown below:-

10,000 in 2006/07 and consideration will not be given to future requests until the Director of Recreation and Heritage and Head of Museums and Archives have agreement that the remaining volumes will be published by 2007/08. Any future grants will be subject to a matching sum from Winchester City Council
