1. Summary

1.1 The following decisions are sought:

      (i) That the application made to the Reaching Communities National Lottery Fund for a county-wide Wheels to Work scheme grant be endorsed.

      (ii) That, if the application is successful, approval be given to accept the grant and implement the county-wide Wheels to Work scheme.

2. Reason

2.1 This decision will provide the necessary funding to enable the existing Wheels to Work schemes to be extended county-wide if the funding application is successful. It will also improve the well-being of those young people who benefit from the scheme.

3. Other Options Considered and Rejected

3.1 To maintain the provision of the Wheels to Work Scheme in Hampshire at its current level and limited geographical coverage.
