The following decision is sought: |

That the Executive Member for Education approves the scheme for an internal refurbishment of existing areas, at an estimated cost of up to £275,000, excluding fees. |

To create a suite of two CDT rooms to meet current curriculum requirements for both wood and metal workshops. |
2.2 |
The internal refurbishment of existing areas to form a CDT suite will enhance the quality of place for all users of Fernhill School. |

The need for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost effective way of meeting that need. |
