Summary

1.1

The following decision is sought:

That the Executive Member for Policy and Resources approves the design project appraisal for the extension and remodelling of the Junior School building to provide a one-form entry Primary School and Children's Centre, at an estimated cost of up to £2,852,000, excluding fees.

Reason

2.1

The proposal to provide a one-form entry Primary School and Children's Centre will improve the quality of accommodation and maximise well-being for all users.

3.1

The need for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost effective way of meeting that need.
