Summary of Bid (Details of proposed activity the money will be spent on)	The Partnership has established a post of Partnership Officer/Manager and a small project budget to support it and the community planning process in Rushmoor. The post was filled by Annie Denton. The post is independent of any specific partner organisation and is responsible to the Chairman and Partnership Steering Group. For day to day operations and service conditions, there is a direct link to Rushmoor Borough Council's Head of Democratic Services. The post is part-time (20 hours per week). The Partnership has agreed to establish the post and small project budget and the Partnership Steering Group has agreed arrangements for 2006/07.
Timescale (anticipated period over which the money will be spent)	The post holder commenced duties in June 2005 for two years. The Partnership would like to extend the contract for the post for a further two years.
How does this bid support the targets within the Community Strategy?	The post holder will work with the Partnership on action planning, performance management, resource generation, communication and consultation. In 2007/08 there will be a key objective of reviewing the Rushmoor Community Strategy and considering the implications of the Local Government White Paper on the role and organisation of the Partnership. The Partnership has also secured funding support for specific projects from private sector organisations and the post holder has a key role in project development and implementation.
