1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That the South East England Regional Assembly be advised that:

(i) Hampshire County Council considers there is a strong case for `saving' Hampshire Structure Plan policies H1-4, G1-3, MDA2, EC6, T5-6, T11, T14-21, E7 and IMP1-2; and

(ii) in addition, Hart District Council has requested that the following policies be saved: E4 and E14-17.

2. Reason

2.1 To provide the advice requested by the South East England Regional Assembly and avoid a strategic policy vacuum between September 2007 and the adoption of the South East Plan.

3. Other Options Considered and Rejected

3.1 Not to provide advice to the South East England Regional Assembly.
