1. Summary

1.1 That Councillor M. Kemp-Gee be appointed as one of the County Council's three representatives to serve on the East Hampshire Road Safety Council.

2. Reason

2.1 To ensure that the County Council remains fully represented at member level in the work of the Road Safety Council, following the resignation of Councillor Mrs. E. M. Byrom. The other County Council representatives are Councillors Sam James and Sam Payne.

3. Other options considered and rejected

3.1 Not filling the vacancy, which would lead to a loss of County Council influence in the work of this organisation.

4. Conflict of Interests declared by the decision maker - None

5. Dispensation granted by the Standards Committee - None

6. Reasons for the matter being dealt with if urgent - None
