Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

1. That approval be given to appoint the following contractors to the engineering term maintenance contract for the respective geographic areas:

    · Emcor Facilities Management - Area A

    · Kier Building Services - Area B

    · Planned Maintenance Engineering Ltd - Area C

Reason(s)

2.1

To provide planned and reactive (breakdown) maintenance for the mechanical and electrical services in County Council buildings for a five year period.

2.2

The provision of the engineering term maintenance contract will ensure that the electrical and mechanical services provided in County Council buildings is well managed and maintained and improves the quality of place for all building users.
