1. Summary
1.1 The following decisions are sought:
i) That trophy grants totalling £3,037, as recommended by the Michael Austin Harlick Advisory Group on 28 February 2007 and detailed in the attached report, be awarded to sports associations.
ii) That £450 and £500 respectively be awarded to the individuals set out in the supporting confidential report on the grounds of financial hardship.
2. Reason
To reward the achievements of Hampshire school-age young people in line with the requirements of Michael Austin Harlick's original bequest. These grants meet corporate priorities by ensuring safe transport to and from evening training sessions, encouraging sporting activity among young people and ensuring that Hampshire remains a top sporting county.
