2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
All members who believe they have a personal or a prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the Fire Authority's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. To consider the report of the Chief Officer presenting the draft Gender Equality Scheme for approval.
6. RETAINED DUTY SYSTEM (RDS) STRATEGIC REVIEW PROJECT - PROGRESS REPORT
To consider the report of the Chief Officer on the progress of the review into the Retained Duty System.
7. RE-EMPLOYMENT OF GREEN BOOK EMPLOYEES FOLLOWING RETIREMENT
To consider the report of the Chief Officer on offering Green Book employees direct re-employment following retirement.
8. ESTABLISHMENT
To consider the report of the Chief Officer on the actual and authorised establishment as of 28 February, 2007.
9. FAIRNESS AND DIGNITY FORUM: 1 MARCH 2007
To consider the report of the Chief Officer summarising the meeting of the Fairness and Dignity Forum held at St. Mary's Fire Station on 1st March 2007.
10. ORAL UPDATES ON CURRENT HUMAN RESOURCES ISSUES
To consider the oral report of the Chief Officer on current human resources issues, including the Regional Management Board held on 4 April 2007 and senior appointments within Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
11. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC
To resolve that the public be excluded from the meeting during the following item of business, as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during that item there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, and further that in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information, for the reasons set out in the report.
12. REPORT OF PRINCIPAL OFFICER PAY REVIEW GROUP
To consider the exempt report of the Chairman of the Principal Officer Pay Review Group on the Group's decision in relation to Principal Officer pay for 2007.
