5. ANNUAL AUDIT AND INSPECTION LETTER 2006/07

    To consider the report of the Chief Officer presenting the Audit Commission's Annual Audit and Inspection Letter.

6. USE OF RESOURCES ASSESSMENT

To consider the report of the Chief Officer presenting the Audit Commission's `Use of Resources Assessment' as part of the Fire and Rescue Performance Assessment 2006/07.

7. FIRE AND RESCUE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT - NATIONAL REPORT

To consider the report of the Chief Officer presenting the Audit Commission's report on the national outcomes of the Fire and Rescue Performance Assessment.

8. FIRE AND RESCUE MUTUAL

    An oral update will be given on any significant outcomes from the steering group meetings that the Director of Corporate Services is attending in the week prior to the Committee's meeting.
