The following decisions is sought:

That this item be withdrawn in light of the decision made on Item 1 to this meeting.

Further consideration to be given to the proposal of retaining an In-house provision for an Integrated Youth Support Service.

Other options considered and rejected

3.1

A number of options were considered, with external consultant support, ranging from all services in-house to procuring all services, including those currently provided by Children's Services. It was not an option to do nothing as the funding distribution changes and national strategy for delivering services is changing from April 2008.
