a) the sale of remaining land comprising approximately 6.66 ha to the County Council's preferred developer on the basis set out in the report; and |
|

b) the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services (Head of Estates) be authorised to settle the detailed terms and conditions of sale, including such adjustment to the purchase price as may be necessary. |

Maximising wellbeing through assisting with the delivery of a replacement school providing modern and appropriate facilities for school and community use;

Enhancing our quality of place with the delivery of a high quality of development based on a Masterplan prepared by the County Council and approved by the Planning Authority; and

Hampshire safer and more secure for all arising from the proposed purchaser's scheme which will provide planned access routes for pedestrians and cyclists and surveillance of key areas which has evolved through design workshops with the County Council.

Other options considered and rejected

3.1 |
An alternative disposal option would have been to proceed with a sale conditional on the grant of detailed planning approval for the Phase 2 land. In light of the need to secure the funding for the new school and the uncertainties attached to a conditional sale this option was rejected.
