1. At the December meeting of the Children and Young People Select Committee, Members agreed to commission the Centre for Public Scrutiny to research and draft the scope for a review of respite for families of children with severe disabilities.
The attached report is the first draft from Dr. Sheila Marsh. The report will be finalised with input from Children's Services to give the local context for this review.
2. Recommendations
a) Members are asked to approve the current scope and make recommendations for alterations as appropriate.
b) Members are asked to consider how this work can best be taken forward within the Work Programme of the Committee.
