1.1 The following decisions are sought:

    i) That the financial and performance information for 2006/07 be noted.

    ii) That the 2007/08 financial position be noted.

2. Reason(s)

2.1 Regular budget monitoring reports are submitted to the Executive Member throughout the year to confirm that managerial action is being taken to achieve a balanced budget position and that performance is improved. This report presents the final current financial and performance situation for the Recreation and Heritage Department in 2006/07, and outlines the key financial issues for 2007/08.
