CORPORATE BUSINESS PLAN PROGRESS/BASELINE - 2006/07 YEAR END
The County Council's Corporate Strategy was revised in 2006 introducing three new priorities, namely:
· Hampshire safer and more secure for all
· Maximising wellbeing
· Enhancing our quality of place
The Corporate Business Plan supports the Corporate Strategy and identifies the key projects and activities that will deliver the corporate priorities. It is an important tool for use by managers when developing departmental and service plans, and for individual performance plans. As part of the County Council's performance monitoring framework, Business Plan progress up to the 2006/07 year end was reported to the Cabinet on 25 June 2007, which gave a summary of overall progress against each of the corporate priorities. The Cabinet welcomed the strong progress made during the year and recognised the work done by staff to achieve improved results. For areas identified as requiring improvement, action is being taken. The Cabinet took the decision that extracts from the progress report be published on the County Council's Performance Plan website.
Copies of the Corporate Business Plan indicator results have been placed in the Members' Rooms and additional copies can be obtained from the Chief Executive's Democratic Services Unit upon request.
