INQUIRIES RECEIVED AND ACTION TAKEN

1. The Committee continues to receive inquiries from partner organisations and County Councillors. At the last meeting Members were alerted to inquiries about:

The future of Fenwick Hospital, Lyndhurst - The Primary Care Trust is in the process of refining the business plan for the future use of the hospital.

The Use of the Royal Hospital Haslar - The Primary Care Trust had responded to a request from Gosport Borough Council to meet with other agencies to explore the potential future use the Royal Hospital Haslar site. Portsmouth Hospitals (NHS) Trust had signed an agreement with the Ministry of Defence for temporary health service use of the site.

Other inquiries included Surrey and Borders NHS Trust foundation status application and Briarwood Rehabilitation Unit , Cove becoming Briarwood Recovery and Rehabilitation Service

2. The responses made by the Committee influence and improve the delivery of Health Services in Hampshire and, in doing so, support the delivery of the Corporate Strategy aim of maximising well being.
