Glossary of terms
1. Full Day Care (FDC) is provision that is registered and open for more than 4 hours per day and provide integrated education and childcare.
2. Sessional Care (SESS) is provision that is offered for less than 4 hours per day (usually 2.5/ 3 hours) but may be offered twice in one day and provide integrated education and childcare.
3. Childminder network is the organised grouping of accredited childminders who are able to offer integrated education and childcare.
