Summary

1.1

The following decision is sought:

That the Executive Member for Education approves the scheme at Breamore Primary School, Fordingbridge, at an estimated cost of £585,000, excluding fees.

Reason

2.1

To provide a new hall and kitchen extension, together with internal refurbishment works to form a library/resource area and associated access and improvement works.

2.2

The proposed scheme will maximise wellbeing and enhance the quality of place for users by providing additional purpose-built facilities and improved accessibility.

3.1

The need for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the report are considered to be the most appropriate and cost effective way of meeting that need.
