1. Summary
1.1 The following decision is sought:
That the following list of changes to funding for bus services, as detailed in the report, be approved, which alter the 24 July 2007 decision on bus subsidies. The full set of changes and revisions are set out in the appendix.

2. Reason
2.1 To achieve savings of £495,000 per annum by 2008/09 required in the County Council's budget strategy, whilst maintaining the greatest accessibility within budget.
3. Other Options Considered and Rejected
3.1 Representations have been received regarding many of the services for which funding will cease, as decided on 24 July. All of these have been considered for reprieve, but most have been rejected in order to achieve the necessary savings.
