1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought: That the Executive Member for Policy and Resources:

i) Defers his decision on the transfer of the management of the Tower arts centre to Kings' School until his Decision Day on 7 December 2007.

ii) Agrees the consultation process set out in the report.

 2. Reason

2.1 The report asks the Executive Member to defer his decision again from 13 September to 7 December to allow enough time for the consultation to be undertaken and to agree the proposed consultation process.

2.2 The Decision links to the Corporate Priorities of Maximising well-being and Enhancing our quality of place.

3. Other Options Considered and Rejected.

None.
