The following decisions are sought: |

That approval be given to: 1. The Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services being authorised to enter into negotiations with the Abbottswood developers, and in relation to Ganger Farm the sports pitch proposals, in order to explore and secure the potential planning gain and other benefits to the SHHG. 2. The Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services being authorised to negotiate with Hillier Nurseries Limited on the proposed improvements to the Plant Centre site and any land transactions to facilitate these improvements, and if necessary, to consult with the Charity Commission on the same. 3. The Masterplan for the SHHG being updated and finalised and submitted to the Arboretum Trust Board for approval. |

To ensure that the County Council as sole trustee for the SHHG responds to the development proposals for Abbottswood and Ganger Farm, and the proposals by Hillier Nurseries Ltd to expand its current Plant Centre facilities. |
