Review of the Statement of Investment Principles

1 Summary

1.1 The Hampshire Pension Fund's Statement of Investment Principles (SIP) should be reviewed and updated by the Panel each year.

1.2 A revised draft of the SIP is attached as Appendix 1 for approval. The changes are highlighted.

1 Recommendation

    That the updated Statement of Investment Principles be approved.

2 Summary of changes

2.1 Few changes are necessary this year and none of them are significant. Bramdean Asset Management's appointment on a long term contract is the main amendment.

2.2 The Fund's governance policy statement is included on page 5 of the SIP. The governance compliance statement, referred to in item 8 on this Agenda, will be added once the Government has confirmed its best practice principles for such statements.
