    PART II

    MENTAL HEALTH

1. The Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth and Isle of Wight Health Scrutiny Joint Committee held a Mental Health Workshop on 22 October and representatives from all Hampshire District Councils were invited to attend.

2. Members and representatives were updated on recent changes to the law and given details of work being and proposed to be implemented and the important joint working between Health and Social Services in Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight in providing a seamless 21st century mental health service.
