1. Summary

1.1 The following decisions are sought:

    (i) That the proposed changes to the 2007/08 capital programme, as set out in the report, be approved.

    (ii) That the revised 2007/08 capital programme, as set out in Appendix 1, be approved.

    (iii) That the Quality of Place sub-programme within the maintenance budget be approved.

2. Reason

2.1 It is necessary to adjust the 2007/08 capital programme due to modifications to schemes as they were developed during the programme year. A number of projects will not now start during the current financial year.

2.2 Decisions on the Environment capital programme will support the County Council's corporate priorities.

3. Other Options Considered and Rejected

3.1 Taking no action.
