1 Summary
1.1 The following decision is sought:
That the Executive Lead Member for Children's Services (Education) agrees that in line with the agreed School Meals Strategy, the price of school meals is increased to £1.90 per meal from April 2008 to reflect the continued improved food and nutritional content of the meal and the cost pressures on the catering services.

2.1 This decision supports the following Hampshire County Council priority:
The decision supports the corporate aim of maximising wellbeing by providing school meals with an improved nutritional content.

3.1 Increasing the price beyond £1.90 to meet the impact of the Pay and Benefit Review and other cost pressures. Holding prices steady to try and increase demand.
