1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That partnership funding, set out in the table below and totalling £72,000 is distributed from the 2007/08 budget:

Hampshire Conservation Volunteers	500
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust	11,000
Marwell Zoo	41,000
Butterfly Conservation	1,500
British Trust for Conservation Volunteers	18,000
Total	72,000

2. Reasons for the Recommendation

2.1 The organisations are key partners of the Service and deliver a range of countryside management and conservation projects and activities in support of the Countryside Service. The projects contribute to the Corporate Strategy by maximising well-being and enhancing a sense of place.
