1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That partnership funding totalling £27,120 be approved for allocation from the Community Buildings Fund for 2007/08 as listed below :-

* maximum subject to level of contribution from New Forest District Council

# subject to final confirmation of Winchester City Council contribution

2. Reason

2.1 To support organisations that seek to enable local people to meet the recreational, educational, social, cultural and environmental needs of their local communities and to achieve the aim of the Corporate Priority - enhancing our quality of place by improving community buildings to provide excellent local facilities.

3. Other options considered and rejected

- allocating partnership funding at higher and lower levels.

- allocating no partnership funding at all.
